Friends…. I am loosing the aiptasia war I feel so defeated I have thrown everything at them F-aiptasia,joes juice,elimi-aiptasia,5 berg nudis and a peppermint shrimp

The chemical options worked for a week or so but they all eventually came back stronger the nudis got everything on the sand bed but I think my 6 line eventually got to them and the peppermint shrimp never touched them I’m out of options idk what else to do
I used a Klein butterfly, but some people have trouble with them eating coral.

my father lived with an aneurism on his aorta for a decade or better, they would not operate due to his age. its not what killed him, but they thought it would
I found out about this a year ago after a CT-Scan when I passed out at church. Long story shorter, it got scheduled but at a hospital that everyone I knew with knowledge of the medical community agreed was not a good choice. Canceled the procedure and changed plans in December to one with a more desirable hospital. Then had to go through whole approval process again. Finally got it done. When my wife was talking to the Doc she mentioned that I wondered if I really needed the procedure since I felt fine. He made a small circle with his thumb and index finger and said, it should be this big, then he clenched his fist and said his is this big. Yes, he absolutely needs it. Good thing, I was already being prepped in the OR for the procedure during that conversation. I would have been mildly upset if he had said, no not really but I like doing them.

On tomorrow’s podcast of smoking with Kev ( sounds like a Cheech and Chong movie), we will be smoking a beef brisket. Don’t get your hopes up, I’ve never smoked anything. Well that’s only partially true. During my three tours in Vietnam I smoked Lucky strikes, opium, hashish and Mary Jane. Which continued when I returned to the states and over the decades I included crack, Meth ( only the good blue stuff from a German guy and his partner Jesse) and crank. Now I know what you all are

thinking but I don’t have a problem, I only do it socially like when I’m on R2R, texting, Instagram, Tic Tok, etc.
and you don't do coke but you like the smell right? 🤪

so glad it went well @tharbin ! take care of yourself!
id boo on the filefish. i think he is what my zoa problem is. and unfortunately everyone likes him!! my next fish will be a stripey i think. i only here good things about them. boo to the kleini butterfly too. he was a coral muncher also and a bugger to catch!

I wish butterflies were more reef safe, some of the most beautiful fish

@tharbin, I just realized my last post might not sit well with you, but my father lived to 4 months shy of his 91 birthday, ww2 and Vietnam vet. his battles at the end were not what you are going through, forgive me brother I did not intend to offend
I didn't take it wrong at all. The problem is it is a cxxp shoot, could be today, could be in ten years, could go from something else but if it goes, you go so I needed to put family first and handle it.

WOW. yeah some doctors you never are sure of. I was sent in for a procedure and while I was sitting with an IV that took took several nurses and many different locations before they could get it in a vein, the doctors called my doctor saying they didn't want to do it. He had to convince the doctors to go through with it after discussing it for like an hour. nothing like hearing that before you in 🙄

Idk the picture I looked up the lightbulb anemones look more bubbly
mine looked like that but only has like 3. they didn't multiply but they got to almost 2" wide. I did f-aptasia right into their mouth. 2 died but one popped up in 2 locations until I finally got correct. but they didn't spread like what you guys have. it also looks a bit like majano. TBS told me mine were light bulb.

I have a 3.5 centimeter descending aortic aneurysm that they are watching. It must be doing some amusing stuff for them to be watching it this long.

Hey, you guys are right! I just put on 12 ounces!

Your drinking light beer Kevin haha. Drink a Guinness or something heavy haha. Thats why you cant gain weight!

..wasnt really going to bring it up, but since everyones being so honest.. i havent been able to think about anything else for a few weeks... hence why i was kinda MIA. I got an appointment Monday. If it goes well, its life changing... quality of life, through the roof.. if not, idk.. life goes on. I really REALLY hope it goes well. Been trying to get this taken care of since I was 21 years old and everytime I see a doctor about it, it seems like an absolute waste of time.. they can never find anything definitive. Recently theres been a new development that I think will potentially, shine some light on it so I can finally get some answers. Prayers that my appointment goes well would really be appreciated.

According to the doc I'm in really good shape, the procedure went textbook. Doc's happy. I'll know better in a few days. As meds wear off new aches appear. Main thing is I've got three new implants complete with their warranty cards for my wallet. I have two aneurisms, one in the lower Aorta which was still pretty small and a large on on my Interior Iliac. They put in a coil and two stents. Main thing is looks like I'll still be here to care for my family.
This is fantastic news that you are going to be able to be here for your family and to enjoy life! If you don't mind me asking what were your symptoms?
