Trying but its hard because it scatters so easy and its practically indivisible.

I use a siphon hose running into a filter sock into my sump. You can do the same with a 5 gallon bucket instead of the sump and then dump the water back into the tank or use it as an opportunity for a water change.

that's the problem. I tried last time and it goes no where. all automated and ends call. FedEx is one of the worst places. this guy is the same one that delivered my urchin in a box that looked like it was drop kicked all the way here. no water in the package anymore and box soaking wet. even though its only 70 degrees, it does get pretty warm sitting all day on the truck. there should be a requirement for these companies that is "deliver first" to boxes that say perishable or live animals.

Which one would be better for me?

I prefer flexible for overflow drains and then flexible up from the return and then change to PVC behind the tank.

How do you like the Orphek bars?

Great! It’s a great supplement light to my AI Primes. It’s is making my SPS grow so fast at the top of the tank. I do want to upgrade to hydras soon. But primes are working great!

Try that phone par meter app for us, so you'll be the one that gets made fun of while I try it secretly and dont tell anyone. Lol

fixing to head outside and get some yard work done, will leave you with a pic of that chalice I purchased a few weeks ago, color is much better in person than with the filters on my camera, its already grown over where it was cracked. The duncan has what looks like 3 new heads coming out, cant see it very well in the pics.

Looking outstanding Jimmy! That chalice is going to be a stunner, and that Duncan is gorgeous! The Smorgasbord is killing it right now

My (not really mine personally) FedEx driver has delivered so much stuff that he drops it off first on his route because he knows it's alive. I've even showed him my tank. LOL

My great grandmother, who spoke very little English, would have all the cousins in her dining room on the Sundays we would all meet at my Grandparents house. She would give us black coffee and these hard, German 'cookies' she would make. You needed to soak them in the coffee just to be able to bite them. We would (or I would) add so much sugar to the coffee there would be about 2 teaspoons in the bottom of the cup after I finished. She would get so upset I added sugar! She would speak to us in German. Such a great memory I have of her. This was when I was probably 4 or 5.

the woman that comes here is awesome. she does that for me. but it got put on this other guys truck last time and today. she came and left around 10 this morning.

so I think I'm going to let this dry one more day before sanding and re-coating. Meanwhile (while waiting for this delivery guy) I made floaties for the boat so even if it takes on water, it won't sink. Need to glue all these together, wrap in glass, epoxy, and paint. I think I'm liking the mahogany boards. will be contrasting against natural wood. unless I mess it up then will be painted white.
