What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
This is my biggest buck so far and he's bigger than normal for our area of Georgia we hunt. He's the biggest any of us have gotten since I started deer hunting about 9 years ago. I got him at my second favorite place that's down in the woods. He was also my first deer that I tracked on my own. I was so proud of myself.

Today?
Nice.

I honestly think your right brother. My hammers are the only corals in my tank that im not 100% happy with. And they're the only ones that aren't receiving the flow I want for them
My advice is to never change anything in the tank for a single coral, but you can move the hammer around different places in the sand to see where it looks happiest.

Making Chicken Jambalaya, no fresh garlic so powder will have to do. Not shown, 2 cups chicken broth

I want to see the final result

Dang powers out, I have a battery powered air stone in the tank. Beautiful sunny day, currently 79 degrees. Better be on by 7:30!
Hang in there dude I'm thinking my best thoughts here for ya!

For sure. And that's my issue, they're fixed to the rock work and I have 5 of them. I think Im going to add another small powerhead and split the flow between the hammers and the sps above it. Cube flow is no fun.

sorry, I dropped them on the grill and clicked a pic. ate everything without finished pics.

Well dang, that's against the rules, isn't it 😉

Where’s the Montreal Steak seasoning crust around the steak Paul?

But honestly Tom, the prices weren't that high 20 years ago. The younger generation has had a lot to do with the price boom. Vinyl actually outsole cds last year. The trends have the prices up for now.
Vinyl was out for the most part back then. I don't know that I would actually pay more than maybe fifty bucks for a used album. Vinyl is just too fragile; heat, poorly adjusted or cheap turntable; worn out needle; just plain number of plays; poor cleaning, etc. Seems like a weird market to me. Most of the vintage gear isn't any better than the current gear, a lot of it is much worse. There is some vintage gear worth the price but not much of it. High-end audio was always a little nuts but now it is usurious. 5k for a DAC, what planet do you need to come from to think that 50 bucks worth of hardware can ever be worth 5k?

It's the same as today's coral market. Have some indigenous person scrape a hunk of coral off of a reef and ship it to a distributor. Chop it into 50 pieces (colonies?), if it turns out to be pretty, break a few of the colonies into dozens of sub-pinky-sized frags, slap a fancy name on it and sell them for stupid prices.
