What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Well, it was supposed to be lake day today, my wife has been out there helping prepare the food, 80 degrees and sunny, but my uncle’s ex wife, mother of his son passed away this morning in hospice. She was such a nice person and was invited to all the family events. They are taking the food to her son’s.
Im sorry for all of your family Kevin. Prayers for yall

Just found my conch belly up and the shell is empty! Get a reef tank they said, it’s fun they said.
They don’t allow you to edit anymore? Anyway I forgot to post a picture.

So today kicks off cruising the coast. It's billed a America's largest block party. There are almost 10,000 classic cars registered. The event is a week long and spans the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast. I hope yall like pictures of old cars.

I don't care what it is. A death in the tank is always stressful. I hope this day turns around for you soon Kevin

OOOOH, right off the bat I can see that popcorn is needed for that thread. I know Miami recently did a 100% wc with natural seawater and I can say that if I had a source of fresh from the ocean water I would change 50% a week, just to get all of the 'stuff' in the water. I still remember the first saltwater book I read had a photo of a tank, more like a bowl, of one of the first reefers, I think his name was Eng. Anyway I found it less than inspiring since he lived in Indonesian and just replace his water on a regular basis.

After coming back to the world of the living Duke swore he was he was never drinking again yesterday.

His buddies picked him up last night and I never heard him come in. This is how I found him when I woke up. Two nights in a row he couldn’t even make it to bed. The cat suggested an intervention today, might be needed.

Good morning folks, I hope y'all are doing well.

When I said I was sick a few days ago, I had Covid. Yesterday was my first day feeling "better". Its spreading around like crazy here. Anyways, this week is going to be insanely busy so I probably won't be on much. I hope y'all have a nice week!
Glad you are feeling a bit better and hope you continue to improve!

My dad has a 69 Camaro, so I guess I’ve grown up around classic cars! I’m always hear to look at old cars, new cars, or whatever has 4 wheels (3 wheels or more idk cars are weird)

That coffee sounds amazing I have never heard of that brand before you mentioned it the other day.
Initially I thought you were talking about the coffee in the picture I posted. If you want I can send you a link where you can get some, just let me know.😉

I live right next to the ocean. I am still reluctant to do it. I'm afraid mostly of algae. But thinking when I buy my ocean front house, I may drop a garden hose in and just suck it right in and out. Thinking that would be a predator tank. like maybe shark and not heat the water. I've come across a few home that have actually been on a dock. imagine just dropping a hose straight below?
