Moments like these make me hate this hobby with all my heart. It makes me so angry that something like this happens and I don't have an answer after months of him eating really well and everything being perfect in the tank with no problems with the other fish. I'm so upset right now.

Drove to the city with my daughter today to bring in her car again...
So we decided to test drive whatever they let us for a couple of hours
Everyone and I mean all of you family should just spend a day test driving whatever and not buy anything

I have this piece on its own rock. I'm trying to get it to cover a small cave rock I have.

Mine's always been out of hand, can't kill it if I tried.
Everyone has their own opinion on its growth.
Some say dirty water, high nutrients, light, etc and blah blah blah .
I've noticed mine really takes off in higher salinity, higher alk and honestly just stability.
Once it gets going it really does make a great natural filter.
I honestly just let mine grow up the walls by itself. It's kind of like ivy.

I'm pretty much seeing more growth every other day or so right now. It's pretty cool to see the flesh grow and then the polyps start popping out.

The top one is going to have really cool looking feeders where the turquoise is. And the second one has a crazy ufo thing going on with a really unique center. Those are specimens

sorry Luis. When I talked to my LFS about these, he had mentioned the majority of them that come in just suddenly lose their slime coat. but you had him for a good amount of time. it really is a nice looking fish.

I did end up getting another tunnel around used off the market. The math in my head says that now I have a spare pump and a spare sensor as well as my original controller which works 90% of the time.
