Makes it SUPER easy. I put the AFR powder in and let it mix while I'm doing other stuff. I can post the one I got and the gram scale.
It says to use 6 level scoops (160g) per liter, however 6 scoops came out to between 170-171 grams every time I measured it out. I did it to see how close I would be. I did this 5 times and never had 6 scoops equal 160g. I'd measure it in a separate small beaker, dump it back in the AFR container and repeat.
If you dont want to be exact, the 6 level scoops will be SLIGHTLY higher concentration.

I have a gram scale that I use for making SW. I started to look at mixing plates and beakers and the prices are all over the place from around $25.00 up into the hundreds. I'm figuring the low end is sufficient as long as it lasts a while.

No idea, I've just used the pre-mix initially but I did watch a video from someone and they recommended using a mixing plate because it takes a fair amount of time, even on a plate. I'm sure someone on here knows since using the dry is the 'sane' expenditure.

It takes an absolutely insane amount of mixing. I shook each bottle for probably 5 minutes to get it completely dissolved.

Yes! Absolutely! If I had your gorgeous tank, that's right where my scoly would be. Looks like nice par there and it'll have plenty of room to puff up and be beautiful. I almost couldn't even imagined a better looking spot.
