I just got aefw and had to tear down a lot of my tank to put all my sps in a qt. I am trying to look at the experience as optimistic as possible. Now that all my sps has been taken out of my tank, i have the chance to start off a new collection. Most of my sps i will be keeping, but some ill be getting rid of once its free of fw's.
So, If you were to put a list together of 10 of the most coveted sps that even if you have the money you cant get what would it be?

Here's my list:
Tyree Blue Avatar
Tyree Pink dragontales (not look alike)
Tyree Mr. Pacman (not look alike)
Pink Panther
Tyree somewhere over the rainbow
Joes Rainbow Acro
Purple dragon eyes
Procorals rainbow stag
Procorals superman table?
Mother of pearl

... Its kinda late, i cant even think of anymore right now, ill be adding to the list though, so help me out! :)

They didn't actually lose it. It browned out on them so bad that they are unable to sell it. I heard it may come back, but nothing definite.

My favorites in my tank:
SniperSPS bubblegum mille
DFS pink panther
ORA dustins deepwater
ORA purple pillow
Palettas Pink tip
Joses Rainbow
Vivids Tri-color prostrata
30k lokani- Must have for every SPS tank

which one? Tyree or Larry Jackson?

The Tyree probably would be but the Larry Jackson is probably more rare right now. The Tyree grows slow but Larry's grows really fast, I just have not seen anyone with Larry Jackson purple monster in a while.

I think you are confused. The "larry jackson" is a tri-color type acro, more likely an A. valida or an A. nana. This thing is grows like a weed and I wouldn't consider it coveted by many.

I think you were referring to the "Eddie's purple monster", which is pretty rare these days as not too many people had it back in the day, and it is a pretty fickle piece.

Im surprised to see that so many ORA coral are making a good come back. Not surprised meaning they do not have quality because I think they have awesome coral but surprised because it seems like a lot of their coral was put on the back burner for a couple of years.

well to be fair, a lot of the coveted ones are of their old school, circa 2007-2008 releases.

I am not confused. My point was there are many purple monsters. I know exactly what the Larry Jackson purple monster is I used to know Larry pretty well before he pretty much dropped out of the hobby to travel and focus on his photography. You do not see Larry’s coral anymore because there are so few colonies out there and in my opinion should be more sought after, it's a piece of history from one of the greatest, nicest guys that was ever in this hobby and influenced and helped it greatly.

Anyone have a piece I would be interested in it.

"His" coral is a run of the mill A. nana, or commonly called tri color acro. It was never called the Larry Jackson purple monster. It was called the Larry Jackson purple TIPPED monster, and wasnt all that special IMO... I guess for 1999 whenever when it came out it was, but def nothing to write home about these days.

I'd like to see a pic of the WT fireball; have one you could share? The pics on reeffarmers leave a lot to be desired IMO, but looks like it could be an awesome coral in person.
