I'd be surprised if it didn't lol. I have a love hate relationship with my pincushions. I have one that finds little pieces of GSP amd carries them around. I let him carry them around until they're open nicely then I pluck the GSP off and put it in the rocks somewhere.
Yeah, I really like to watch it to be honest, but my wife picked it out, so keeping her interested in the tank is pretty important to me.

Placed most of them the other day, still not sure where I want to put the Alice in Wonderland. Took some pictures to track growth. I need to get my dslr out and learn to get better pictures of my tank.

Am I wrong if I have came to the assumption that this was about poto coral and just turned into a discussion about aptasia?
Why can’t it be both? My main reason to post was to show off/track my new corals, but, as can be seen in most of the pictures, I have an ongoing fight with aiptasia. I will happily take all the advice I can get about aiptasia, and anything else for that matter. Aiptasia has been the bane of my reef keeping existence.

some live in my filters one will show up in the tank now and then but eventually I can kill them with repeated applications of aptasia x I have a peppermint shrimp that used to eat them but they always seem to stop when they have been in the system for a while.

I bought a few corals from piece of the ocean when they were having an Easter sale on here, and ended up winning a high end sps 3 pack during one of their games. These are not my 1st sps, but definitely my 1st, I’ll called them, higher end named corals. I am pretty excited to see these grow.
I bought a frag of POTO Papaya, and POTO Mufasa, and the sps 3 pack I won came with POTO Ballerina, POTO Alice In Wonderland, and RRC Rainbow Splice.

Sharing mostly because I am excited to have them, but might also try and keep this updated to track their growth and color. Definitely want to see if the rainbow splice gets any purple, most of the frags on their website seem to be mostly or all green.

Here is a mediocre picture of the 5 frags when I 1st put them in the tank.

I love POTO's collection. I've gotten so many pieces from them. In my experience their colors and pics are spot on. When I get them in my tank I can't believe how colorful they are. I just wish I could keep that color, lol...although I'm getting better with that. It's always a challenge.
TCK's colors are usually insane too. And I'm not talking about pictures, I'm talking about when I get them in my tank under my lighting and look at them with my eyes.

I am probably going to try and catch the filefish and add some more nudibranchs. may add the filefish back after the nudibranchs do there jobs, in hopes it will pick at any new ones that appear. I wish they did not spread for me, but they seem to come in waves and I don’t know why. They will seem under control one day, then a few days later they seem to explode.

Yeah, the frags look pretty good, really excited to have them grow out a little.

Nice acros. For the aiptasia, get an Australian stripey. You’re welcome 😉

I had great results with peppermint shrimp for aptasia. There are two different kinds and from what I understand only one of them will target aptasia. KB Aquatics has the right ones. I also used vinegar in a insulin syringe to inject it into the ones I could reach.
