There hasn't been too much going on. I haven't added anything to the tank Really. I started 2 part trading out kalk. So that's nice. Really the biggest update today was coming home to find one if my clowns finally hosting the nem.

That was a great feeling. Aside from that I've been working bon getting 2 part dialed in. I stopped working in my water change station. I have everything I need for it, but I listed my house for sale this week.... Hoping to upgrade so I figured I'd just wait we will see how things go. I'm kind of nervous when it comes to moving the tank and such, but i think I will end up getting a larger tank when we get settled in the move. Use the same rock and marine pure that are in the sump and buy a 6 foot tank to replace the current 110.

Actually I haven't moved yet. My house just went under contract to sell this week! So we will close next month and I probably move out into the temporary spot on the 10th. This is just until my house is done..

That being said I can't take my tank :( it's too big. So.... I bought a biocube to take some of my fish. Ill be taking the designer clowns.. the purple Tang, and most of my frags and nem.. I know it's a small tank for a purple, but he's still a small fish so he should be fine. It will only be until July/August before I get the new tank.

Ill be working on setting it up soon. I'm waiting for an order from BRS. I'm going to go barebottom and use it for a QT later. So I'm getting some abs textured Plastic to put on the bottom of the tank. Ill then move some of my current live rock to the new tank.

Well I think it'll just turn this into my biocube build thread too..?

I got the stand build and set up at my grandparents (my temporary place until my house is done) nothing special just the stand that came with. But I modified the cube a bit.

I don't like the thought of that hood, so I took it off. A picture before getting the ailicsil off the glass, then a picture of it clean :)

I also am going to go BB on it. But I decided to give the abs textured Plastic a try it added a little more character to it I think.

I ordered an AI prime (black) with the flexible arm to sit over the top. A inTank media basket as well as an inTank fuge basket. Ill probably get the tank wet this weekend and start transferring some of the Rock to work on the scape. (I just plan on pulling about half of the water from the tank and half fsw. It will also make it easier to catch the fish when they have less to hide behind. I really want to use some of my ceramic block from my sump since I don't plan on having too much rock in the cube... But I will need to cut it up and try to put it probably in the first chamber.. thoughts?? It Shou be super easy to cut with a mitre saw I would imagine.

Got part of my filtration today, I'm very impressed with the quality on this. Media basket should be here this week. My light should have arrived at my LFS today or tomorrow. Going to try and grab that and get some of the fish bagged up tomorrow so I can start pulling out some rock to work on the scape in the cube.

Don't mind the wires I know it's not safe.

I'm taking the 110 down this weekend and will move the electrical cabinet I have over to the new location. But here is the scape I decided on (for now..)

Marine pure and brightwell no3 plates both cut (almost too easily) with a simple hack saw. Do it outside. They make a small mess.
Lol, use very slow gentle strokes.

No issues cutting it wet or dry except the mess. Since yours is already wet and seeded I would consider rinsing it off with salt water before putting it back in the tank.

We carved up our plates to put in our HOB filters.

The transition has been done for a few days now, unfortunately, i wasn't able to get a top put on the tank fast enough and i lost a fish on the second day to jumping out. (the male designer clown) it hurt and my LFS has another but i don't think i will replace it until i get into the new house with the bigger tank. I don't want to crowd the little cube. That being said the tang and other clown seem to be doing fine as do all of the coral i have moved over. Electrical and ATO is all set up and everything is running good. I will be sure to take a picture when i go back over to feed tonight!(I haven't moved in yet)
