What makes it even more appealing is I have a $50 Biota GC so the fish is free and probably half of another fish. $35 shipping and $22 for the second fish I'm looking at $57 out the door shipped to my door. Can't hardly touch that even purchasing at Petco.

Next question: in a 125 there "should" be plenty of room. Do I risk a Neon Blue Goby with my Yellow Line Goby? My Yellow Line has set up shop on the far left side of my tank so the Neon Blue would have the center or right side without much aggression I would assume but do I try?

Retested alk on the "higher resolution" and it's actually a 7.0. So it looks like alk did increase. I'm going to run magnesium again but I'm guessing I'm going to be adding some.

Ugh...
Alk - 4.6
Mag - 900
Cal - 440

My calcium went up higher than I added calcium for and my magnesium went down more...? And my alk... Yikes!
My former alk test kit, a titration based, gave me funky readings in line with these.

these are much more reasonable.

I'm pretty sure I added a little too much calcium yesterday but why did my magnesium drop and alkalinity go up? I wonder if I added too much calcium and the alkalinity increase caused some of the magnesium to precipitate...

Ok. Magnesium is at 960. Down some from yesterday but not nearly as bad as the first test showed. Don't know what happened.

I need to re-watch Ryan's master series on it before I can even venture a guess... I thought I understood it several months ago after that video but now; like a lot, its just gone. lol...

So I'm glad I followed rule number 1 (or 2? 3? 18? Who knows...) and retested instead of dumping additives in. But I still need to bring up the magnesium.

The gift that keeps on giving...that stuff is like groundhog day with no end and you don't even learn piano
Mine died in the 75... I'm hoping this one survives. I should have a nice spot for it to completely take over in the 125 eventually. The Bug Out Stylo is what I'm looking forward to explosiveness from

In all seriousness, I think the other colors are ok..but the green one is quite invasive.
