Hello everyone. I just bought a 12g nano cube (used) and I am setting it up at college. The tank just got here and I know everyone on here can appreciate my excitement (my roommates don't get why i'm so excited). My brother is bringing up a 5g bucket of water from my 120g tank at home along with live rocks from the tank. The only thing I am buying for this tank right now is new sand. I am adding the water and live rock from the tank at home to really speed up the cycling process (if there is going to be one at all). I plan on having mostly coral, and possibly a fish or two. Pics of the tank will be added!

Added 1/2 of the water from my established 120g at home and also added LR from the established tank. Added new sand and 1/2 new water. Shouldnt take much more than a day to cycle :)
Excited to finally add corals! (And for the sand to settle)

Congrats and what type of sand you have in there? Looks like sugar sized sand... Do tell!

Yes, it is sugar sized sand! Is that a bad thing? I havent had much problems with it moving.
Okay I have a question. I bought zoas on a plug should I let them grow on there? If not how do I take them off?
Thanks for all the nice comments :)

Hello everyone. I think the last time I updated this was a month ago. Since then I have boughten a favia (brain coral), nuclear greens (came for free), and rainbow raptor zoas. I also bought a Chromis and a Clownfish. Everything is doing great! My levels are all spot on, and the corals are growing :)!
