If I were to set up a 13g evo right now. I would put a pictus or two spot blenny in it, two green banded gobies, and a pygmy wrasse. Done with fish.

Inverts would be 3-5 sexy shrimp, a pom pom crab, and a porcelain nem crab.

Toss in some macros/gorgs/softies over time that I like.

Until he actually has a tank and starts a "REAL" build thread, and even after that he will continue to change his mind.
us young people change our mind a lot
There are three kinds of people who my parents told me to be wary of. People who don’t read. People who don’t like music. And people who don’t like animals. Its served me well.
that's great advice
I’m not complaining, I’ve offered tons of advice, I’ve just seen plenty of posters on forums like this that end up not making a tank and disappearing.
that sounds like me

Would definitely look into upgrading the filtration system in the rear chamber if you’re planning on keeping coral.

Filtration Upgrade for Fluval 13.5
Those media baskets are expensive on my first tank a ten gallon I made a basket with some egg crate and some zip ties but I did a 5 gallon water change once a week

I don't even run any filtration/media in my overgrown IM 25g tank. Not even floss, my cat pulls all the media out so we gave up on that a long time ago. Don't buy extras until the tank is up and you know you need it.

Coral growth is great at controlling nutrients :)

I will send a pic of the stand when I get to it

You started building the stand yesterday or the day before I believe. I have over 30 years of woodworking experience. I don't think I could make anything decent in that time. Especially if I was going to school and spending 12 hours a day on a forum. Very impressive Noah, would really love to see it..

I did some research on the pygmy cherub and the strain that gets 2” and I think it could work in my tank because it’s very small
