My pink leminade had some crazy pe yesterday some on the polyps was 1"-1.5" at least might be hard to see.

Ok so lately tank was on the fritz corals didnt look as good and there was some nuisance algae slime amd gha even though nutrients was 0.00 phos hanna checker. Thought the algae wouod go away in time with syphoning and blowing off the algaes but they were growing back next day or two. Finally decided to do a 3 days of darkness and right at the 3rd day the algaes were almost gone and have not grown back yet so maybe thats undercontrol. I also noticed while testing that my salinity had gotten low it was at 1.022 somehow so i got it back up over a few days some acros rtn on me after alo this at same time :(

Also got an avast reactor and some npx pearls comming because my corals had better PE when i was running ecobak.

Salinity is always the last thing we think to check when stuff is "off"

Havent hooked up the rector and pellets yet because all the nuisance algae seem to have died off and are not comming back after doing 3 days of darkness. May not add now.

On a sad note lost a lot of acros and some still are stn from the salinity drop and rise i think is what caused it. Really just frags any acros with decent size seems fine exept one milli colony.

Why would you not add them? You had to run the tank with no lights to get rid of it. That isnt the cure, that is just a band aid. Put the pellets on and leave them on, Your tank needs some consistency. I feel like if you would just stick to something for a while you will get good results.
