Yes it has been a while! I've been really busy with work and family. And got a liitle discouraged after I lost a few things in my tank but it's still healthy and looking good minus a few pieces......I will definitely be at the swap and hoping to get more involved with the club than I have been in the last couple of months  Looks like things have been going pretty good for you. Can't wait to see more of this beast! Let me know if you need any help or free advice:wink:

Simple sump 2 baffles each section is 16" middle is return 2 drains will come to the side where they will run into my algae scrubbers then drop down into side sections. Needed these to be able to mount algae filter above tank for better light positioning.

Mike with baffles that high i am curious as to how there is any room for tank water if the power fails and the excess water in the tank drains down? Seems you only have an inch or two at best for drainage??
Bill

thx Bill. my return will be at the top water so not much drainage should happen plus the middle section where the pump is wont be full so it should be enough. the tank shouldnt drain more than 1" which is less than 7g of water. if not i can always fix later just recut the baffles down might be a pain but still doable :)

OOk got all the plumbing done ATS shots. Starting to fill up sump. Baffles seem to be holding up fine for now :)

right now I'm using cool whites, warm whites, nuetral whites, cool blue, and royal blue, all independantly dimmable... I'm about to redo mine and add cyan and a bunch of near uv violets, and maybe a red or two (I love the purplish actanics)

yea ive been thinking bout adding some reds too but i hear its easy to overpower and have to much red. UV ive heard u cant really even see them or tell a difference.

They're near violet uv http://www.rapidled.com/violet-uv-3w-led/
y
ou have to be careful with the red though It can be harmful if there's too much.
I almost think my ww actually are enough as far as red goes... but I bought them before I put it all together I can just turn them down or turn them off.. why not check out how they look.
