I am going to make a thread hopefully for my crazy sump design that could work for a 20g or a 40g or a 75g and make options for each size. I will hopefully make it drill-free too but that’s gonna be the complicated part

And it’s going to be w/o a controller. I’m gonna use drip systems on solenoid timers to dose and things if I need to

Uh in my 10g like 6 cories 10 pencilfish 11 hyphessobrycon bentosi (tetra) and then my 4 psudomugil then all my fry I have in thwt tank. Then in my 20 long 4 keyhole chiclid 2 Pearl gourami 4 Siamese algae eater 7 rainbows a bn pleco and a half banded spiny eel. I’d do weekly water changes 50% as opposed to no water changes at all to cope with the stock and I’d throw my 10 gallon’s unused filter on my 20 long and a airstone in my 10g then I’d have a empty 40g but I’d need a 20 long and 10g to do my crazy display refugium phytoplankton doser bloom skimmer scrubber craziness
That’s way to many fish for those tanks especially the 10g :(

That was easier than expected. The total volume would be 135 gallons

Imo it would be possible, it’s just 20 gallons less of water. I think I will most likely decide to move though, if I knew I would be able to have all my high school classes and have a good life

Having 30 nano fish in a 10g is totally possible. I’ve seen a 40 breeder with 150 tiny nano fish, all these fish max out about 1” long except my cories which are bigger

Doing a 75 would increase my cost a ton but I think building this system into a fowlr with live/dry rock could be done for my 500$ excluding the tanks and stands. It’s just plumbing substrate lights and lr. Lights like 200 plumbing 100 lr like 275 but that’s fine

It is legal to collect but not to sell I believe. Someone I saw on YouTube had a completely wild foraged Florida tank

it’s not sry bro but honestly that’s wayyyyyy to many fish. If it was me I would maybe keep abt 5 neon tetras or maybe even a beta. It’s not good for the fish to be so crowded :(
