I don't have ammonia and nitrite tests, I didn't take them. I didn't want to buy them for now since I won't need them much in the future. I think my fish would have problems if I had too much ammonia, but they are very healthy. But my next tests will be Mg and Ca after I start taking coral.Have you tested for ammonia or nitrite at all? That's what you want to be watching during your cycle.
Where are the other two fish you added are they alive still? With the addition of the wrasse is that 3 fish total now and a cleaner shrimp plus clean up crew?
Could still be hiding in the sand somewhere. 20G is pretty small tank size for this fish, he could be stressed out. Not knowing how much ammonia you have is not ideal either. Really should have kept an eye on it before adding fish.Day 3 is over and Yellow wrasse still hasn't emerged from the sand. Should I be worried? Today I dug into the sand a little bit with a stick, but it didn't come out anywhere. The sand thickness is a bit high, around 4-5cm. Was it stored well? I've never had this fish before, can someone with knowledge help?
You have a point, my friend. I will get a test for ammonia. But since today was a holiday, when I watched the aquarium silently from a little distance while the lights were off, I saw the wrasse come out and enter, albeit for a short time. Actually, I think he's just trying to get used to it. That little devil damsel may not be giving peace to the wrasse :) I think I will part ways with that friend, let's see what the process will bring.Could still be hiding in the sand somewhere. 20G is pretty small tank size for this fish, he could be stressed out. Haha yes yes I am aware. The local fisherman I bought it from is someone I have known for a long time. We made an agreement with him, I bought it because it was a fish I really wanted, and when it grows up a little, I will go and change it with another fish. I don't want to torture the little one either, so I want to take care of him until he grows up a little and get some excitement out of nothing :)Not to be negative but the blue tang won't be able to move in that tank when it's fully grown, 20g way too small for it. Have you got a bigger tank to transfer it to? The tang police will be out for you
All of your new corals look great!Greetings to everyone!
