Here's some pics of my new tank! Transfered from my biocube 14 on September 18.
I'll let pics do the talking and will Answer all questions!

Thanks you guys!!
The rock on the left was purchased from aquatecture. Its a great rock! I just out it in and had no adverse effects!
Right now I'm letting it run to see if issues arise and then look for deals on some coral to fill it up.

Quick update. I got some SPS frags. They are on the sandbed to acclimate to the light, which I dimmed down some. Also, two of them are on the rock above the torch but are hard to make out in the picture.
colors of course don't come out good at all... LED's.. haha
I'll post more when I can, work is taking my tank time up.

You might want to put those acro sticks on the rocks and not on the sand bed

The tank is still running :)
Had my fish die due to the mp10 detaching and the heater heating the tank too high. I waited a few weeks and added these two. An ocellaris female and an ocellaris Mocha male.

Right now I am trying to care my LPS back to great color due to bleaching from my LEDs and probably low nutrients from dosing vinegar a little and stopping when I was fishless making my nutrients low.
My battle plan is running my lights at lowest power and carefully dosing Seachem Aquavitro Fuel.

I have that same exact aquatecture structure in my biocube along with another from them. Love it and had mine since Macna

I've started using the fuel myself on my rimmed 20 L w/ 10 gallon sump. Been dosing twice a week-5mL. Hope that's not too much. Just going a little over why they recommend.

What do you use for filtration on your sumpless build? I used a ASM MiniG for a while but noticed it was stripping my tank and having an adverse affect on my chalices. Been doing better without it.

Thank you!
That's what I'm hoping for, my LPS are needing some TLC. They have definitely seen better days.

I'm currently doing twice a week 3mL. Which is a little over half the recommended dosing. Can't tell just yet if it is overdoing it but my tank hasn't shown any ill effects. Looks like my octospawn is getting less translucent. This setup (since I've moved and switched from the biocube 14) has been running for 3 months and 5 days and I haven't had a speck of nuisance algae.

I'm running the filter cover on my MP10 and an Aquamaxx HOB-1 protein skimmer.

I'll definitely going to try keeping up on pics. Pushing to help my LPS to turn around to former glory :)
I love these clowns :)

Do you have good success from just the sponge on the vortech and skimmer? Strangely simple set up. I guess I'm surprised to see so little mechanical filtration to at least catch debris.
