210 gallon Fish Suggestions

I am in the process of upgrading from a 125 gallon to a 210 gallon. It will be a mixed reef with mostly lps and softies with just a couple sps colonies. Just looking for suggestions on what experiences you have had or any fish that you think would be good to put in a 210 tank. I've never had a tank this big and it opens up a lot of possibilities for fish.

You've got lots of options! Wish I could have a tank that big. My favourite is the moorish idol. They are hard to keep just make sure to get one that's eating. Most tangs. A couple purples and yellows would look good. Powder blue. A school of anthias. Some Firefish. Some dwarf angels. I like the cherub, potters and flame. Some clowns probably.

Wrasses, wrasses, and more wrasses. I also recommend a group of anthias, a group of dartfish, marine betta, flame hawk, or a handful of royal grammas.

Right now I currently have a Melanarus Wrasse, Christmas Wrasse, and a leopard wrasse from my last tank that will all go there.

A moorish will die in captivity. You can get whatever you want that won't get eaten by the Betta. I love mine but they will eat crustaceans they can fit in their mouth. I would put pebble tooth eels and a shark in there but that's just me [emoji12] a pair of clowns are always cute but no anemone if you have fish that don't see well. The Betta is a messy eater so get a good clean up crew. I have a horseshoe crab and sand sifting start that basically vacuum my tank. Hermit crabs are good too.

My pr of bettas are not predatory. I have had them for 9+ months with cleaner, blood, and peppermint shrimp, as well as hermits without issue. As long as the shrimp aren't absolutely tiny they will be left alone. I have alao found their bioload is relatively low for their size.

I would recommend against a horseshoe crab, they don't do well longterm in reef temps, and if they did live their natural lifespan they get huge.
