I've always used them in other tanks. I prefer bare bottom for sure. In the future if I do a larger sps tank, it will definitely be bb. I still need to buy pods to add to the tank. Should do that this weekend. I have to drive an hr minimum for a decent store that sells snails and pods etc. So I get lazy sometimes and I try to get as much as possible with each trip.


I should specify, an hr minimum 1 way.

Here is a picture with sand. I did a water change so the water is a little cloudy from gravel vacuuming the sand. I also need to clean the glass lol.

I have a long skinny scraper that I use on the sides. I'm not too worried about it the back wall of the tank though. Any pictures of yours? I'd love to see it or if you have a build thread can you link me to it?
