The last 2 pictures are from earlier this month, I had to make due with only one hydra because a heat sensor went bad in one and the fan wouldn't turn on.

Nice tank and some beautiful flourishing coral. I never saw a bowfront that big that is rimless. It has a nice clean look. I like bowfronts because of the depth for scaping but the cleaning the front glass not so much, ha ha!

Thank you very much for the compliments. It's actually not rimless, there is a acrylic top, I don't have a good picture to show it. Cleaning this one is tough because of the depth (30").

I finally have some time to give the year (plus a few months) in review from my tank. I will start from the stand I built, all the way to current state of affairs. I have pictures from my phone so they tend to be a little blued out, sorry in advance.

Stand was built from oak flooring and 3/4" plywood, for rock I started with dry rock, used a mixture of different small grain sands and a cup of sand from my previous tanks refugium.

These are the corals in the qt before going into the new tank 1 year ago.

The red monticap is in the same pic as the sps. The toadstool actually out grew my tank and I passed it along to a fellow reefer @Dan McNertney.

Ehh it's going, been out of town working. Bought a couple of frags and picked up some red bugs so I tore out all acros and quarentined them. I got rid of the bugs and I got to reorganize the frags. I need to clean the glass when I get home and I'll snap sone photos. Your tank looks fantastic.

Oh no. I have never had red bugs, hope I never do. How did you rid them? Look forward to seeing some photos.

I used a couple of strong Bayer dips and a week of quarentine. It did the trick but was stressful on the corals because of the multiple dips and a sterile quarentine.

The glass is dirty and I have some algae growing on 1 rock, power went out and the powerheads went to constant lowest setting. This is what it looked like today when I got home from being out of town.

I'll give it a proper cleaning and water change tomorrow and I'll take some better pictures of the corals.
