Finally getting things back under control, after a total of 20 gallons of small water changes over the last 10days, a lot of testing and a few tweaks to my dosing and lighting schedule things aren't dying anymore. That being said I am disappointed in what I lost which included a red dragon colony, most of the digis and the Grizzly Adams frag I got from wwc. Also my anenome spawned two days ago which caused quite a stir and a white out in the tank.

Here's a little update on my tank. I have been gone so everytime I return home I always fear the worst for my tank. I happy to say that most things are hanging in there and starting to heal and color back up. I know I'm on the right track as the purple coralline is starting to grow over the spots that had turned white and died off. Pics to follow soon as today is water change day.

Well I ran out of time to get some good pics of the tank while the lights were on and I had to leave again today for 2 weeks but all was seemingly well in the tank. I did however take some quick photos before I did the water change of a couple sps that are coloring up nicely.

Well I found a deal I couldn't pass up time to make a stand alone frag tank and get those frag racks out of the tank. It is a turnkey setup, IM nano fusion with ghost skimmer, reactor and Cobalt heater all I need now is a light setup and away we go.

Got both lights fired up and frags are starting to show signs of improvement after 2 full weeks of dipping. I haven't seen any signs of bite marks and the frags are regaining color, only 6 more weeks until they can go back into the display.

Well an update that's long over due. The DT isnt in great shape at the moment, I pulled all sps and lps out of it in January. I found that I had a massive aefw problem which required me to break apart my aquascape in order to cut off the sps bases with a bandsaw. So the DT has become a sort of mushroom and fish only tank. All of my efforts have been trying to keep the corals in the frag tank alive, which are making a full recovery, and led to the DT dirty, having a small cyano issue and covered in Coraline algae.

The frag tank is great and the corals are starting to really get acclimated to the new tank.
