We need to make some trades. ;)

I'm starting my last three week work trip so as long as the tank isn't in disrepair I Def have a couple of frags with your name on it. I'll hit you up when I get home in 3 weeks.

I fly home tomorrow and after three weeks away from the tank I have my fingers crossed that everything is fine. I haven't received any warnings from the apex and the only number the apex measures that has me a little concerned is the ph. With the cold weather we've been having the furnace has Def been running and my co2 scrubber needs new media but that has only been the last couple of days.

Sight for sore eyes! 3 weeks away from the tank and boy do I have some cleaning ahead of me.

Also bubble algae is everywhere so I have that to contend with but the corals look great. I'll do a water change and get an emerald crab. So happy there wasn't truly any catastrophes. Thank goodness.

The bubible algae is a bit more significant than I first tought. I had a algae die off in my refugium a while back and the macros are slowly growing back but must not be able to out compete at this point. I'll have to do some testing and maybe just buy some more macro instead of waitin for it to grow back.

I have green bubble algae too. Preiodically I remove coral and rocks that can be removed and scrape or scrub all the bubble algae off. I also use syphon hoses and suck out bubble algae. Finally you can buy an emerald crab/s to eat some of them. That is not an option for me since I have seahorses but it might be an option for you.
At least bubble algae doesn't sting or eat coral. :)

I'm considering pulling that rock and quickly scrubbing it off without damaging the encrusted coral. The emerald crab is currently on that rock so hopefully he will make a dent. My wife walked by and wanted to know how I paid for that green bubbly coral, I told her it was a freebie haha.

Worked down the road from a lfs I've never been too so I checked them out. They had a great selection of sps so I supported a small business and my addiction haha. I picked up a forest fire digi, ora valida and a blue milli. I have never owned a Millipora but love the way the polyps look so I had to have a frag.

After a double coral rx dip they frags are on the rack and polyps are coming out.

Milli on the left, forest fire on the right and valid right behind the sunset monti.

The frags were under a very white light at the store so I'm hoping to see more colors under my bluer light settings.

Just got home from a long work trip and my corals look great and the bubble algae is almost gone, thanks to the emerald crabs, unfortunately it has been replaced by bryopsis...

Well it has been one month since I posted and my bryopsis treatment has gone swimmingly. The tank is running perfectly. I had to install a new overflow so I purchased the CPR aquatics overflow and couldn't be happier. I also picked up a few frags including 2 on my frag bucket list.

I just finished hooking up the Neptune ATK and it seems to be functioning properly. It was a breeze to program with fusion and I am very confident that it will prevent a ATO catastrophe. I also installed Neptune's solenoid, which is controlled through the apex, on my RODI system. The solenoid automatically shuts off the water flow and prevents me from wasting RO water on my floor. Slowly but surely the tank is becoming more automated which is exactly what I want. I will post pics of how I hooked everything up tomorrow and also some tank shots.

Well I'm currently sitting at a construction site watching the rain pour down. Only 5 more days until I can head home. Missing the tank but excited to see the growth.
