Hi everyone 👋

I’m fairly new to the 3D printing hobby, but I already have a lot of friends and fellow reefers who’ve asked if I can design and make different parts and accessories for their reef tanks.

They recommended that I create an account here on Reef2Reef to share some of my work, get feedback, and hopefully help others who might be looking for custom or practical 3D-printed solutions.

Even though I’m still new, I’m designing, printing, and testing new things almost every day. I always try to test my designs thoroughly before sharing them.

I’ll be uploading all of my designs to MakerWorld. I’d really appreciate it if you like some of the design, download it, please leave a comment and i would really love if you could give feedpack, rate it and put in some comment :)
Looking forward to being part of the community!

A friend recently purchased the new Red Sea ReefLED G2 and asked me to design a light shade for it. The first version was a standard shade, which he confirmed fits perfectly.

After doing some research, I noticed that several people were also requesting a wide version. Based on that feedback, I designed and released a Wide version yesterday 🙂

Red Sea ReefLED G2 60 – Light Shade Wide

Im not pretty sure if this fit the G1 light but if it do. feel free to test it :)

Hi! I bought a 3D printer last year so I could print things for my tank. I’m no good at designing / creating files so I really appreciate people who do and share their work. I’ll check out your stuff. I just now posted something here I had to rig up. Maybe you could create something better. I was looking for a back wall mount for plating corals or larger corals to sit on. I found a shelf print and created something ok but not too stylish.

I’d be happy to take a look at it if you’d like 🙂

Do you have any measurements, an idea of how it should be mounted, or perhaps a picture or sketch showing how you want it to look?

An aquarist contacted me several months ago asking if I could design a feeder specifically for Copperband Butterflyfish, or other quiet and slow-feeding species, at this time i did not have a printer but it was in my mind when i got it!. He had previously tried keeping three Copperbands, but unfortunately lost all of them because they were unable to compete for food and did not get enough to eat.

After researching existing solutions, gathering inspiration from others, and refining the concept, I ended up with this design:

Copparband Magnetic Fish Feeder

I can see that my designs are being downloaded, which I truly appreciate. If you have some spare time, I would be very grateful if you could leave feedback and rate the products I create — it really helps me improve future designs 😊

Working my way through new requests and ideas that I believe bring real value to the community. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome 😀

I’ve designed a 7" Waterbox Filter Cup and Silencer for anyone looking to replace traditional filter socks.

It has been tested, and a friend of mine has been extremely happy with the results so far!

I have also made finish the Light Shades for the Red Sea ReefLed G2 series

The 115 and 170 have not been tested yet so if you print it please tell me if there is something that is not fit or that need to be change :)

Maybe not the fanciest or most innovative design, but I made an Ecotech Vortech controller bracket in three sizes—for those of us with a bit of OCD 😄

If anyone finds it useful, feel free to download it and use it for yourself.

I wanted to share a small accessory I designed for the D-D Jumpguard Feeding Portal, aimed at making frozen food feeding a bit more controlled and natural.

The Feeding Portal Defroster drops directly into the Jumpguard feeding portal and allows frozen cubes to thaw before entering the aquarium. Instead of frozen chunks sinking straight down or being grabbed by one fish, the food is released gradually through the perforated design and spreads more evenly in the water column.

The top of the defroster has a small recessed lip, so it sits perfectly in the feeding portal ring without wobbling or needing adjustment.

Check it out here:

One more today.

I designed a magnetic clip-on shade for the EcoTech Marine Radion XR15, made to mount directly under the light with no screws or tools required. The goal was to reduce glare and light spill while keeping a clean, minimal look above the tank.

The shade clips on securely, doesn’t affect cooling, and can easily be removed if needed.

Check it out here:

After nearly two weeks of designing and printing parts for friends and fellow reefers, I’ve been spending a lot of time creating power supply brackets and controller holders.

I’ve also been working hard on Ecotech XR30 Magnetic Light Shade, including versions that fit both:

  • 350 x 350 mm build plates
  • and a split version for 256 x 256 mm beds, so anyone running XR30 lights can print it regardless of what printer they have 🙂

I’m currently finishing and uploading a bunch of models to MakerWorld, so feel free to check out my page—maybe you’ll find something useful for your setup!

If you have a specific power supply or controller you’d like a bracket for to improve organization in your sump/tech room, just send me a PM and I’ll see what I can do.

I’ve also decided to keep a consistent design style across most of the power supply brackets—so you don’t end up with 10 different-looking designs everywhere 😅 I’m a big fan of clean, matching setups.

In Norway, Red Sea gear is extremely popular, and I keep getting requests for new accessories to help people organize their sump cabinets and tech rooms.

So I designed a power supply holder/bracket for the Red Sea ReefLED 50 / G2 60 for anyone who needs a cleaner and more organized setup. 🙂

Any Maxspect fans out there? 👋

I’ve designed a power supply holder/bracket for the Gyre 300 / 300CE, perfect for anyone who wants to keep their cabinet or technical room more organized and tidy. It also fits the Maxspect SK400 skimmer power supply.

I’ll be uploading a dedicated SK400 version later, with “SK400” text on the back of the bracket for easy identification.

I’ve started adding clear labeling to all my controller holders and power supply brackets, so if you print several of them, it’s easy to see what each one is made for. 😊

If anyone has a controller or power supply they’d like a bracket made for, or if you want me to create a 2–3-in-one holder for models where I haven’t done that yet, feel free to contact me—I’m happy to design it.

Also, if there are other products or accessories you feel are missing or you’d love to have made, send me a PM and we can take it from there. I’m not charging for this since I’m still learning and improving my Fusion 360 and 3D printing skills.

New day, new design — printed, tested, and ready to share! 👌
This time I’ve made a Maxspect MJ-GF & MJ-SK Control Bracket to help keep your setup clean and organized.
Feel free to download and print it. If you like it, I’d really appreciate a like, rating (with photos), and a boost!

Howdy! 🤠

Days are flying by, and new products are constantly being developed for friends and the reefing community!

Here are a few of the latest additions:

1️⃣ ITC PARwise PAR Meter Wand
I’m not sure how popular this is in the US, but here in the EU there are quite a few PARwise users. I was asked if I could design a wand for the PARwise so people don’t have to put their fingers in the tank while measuring PAR.

2️⃣ Neptune Systems Apex GRO Shade
Who isn’t tired of refugium light spilling into other chambers and causing unwanted algae growth? I designed a shade that fits directly onto the light and significantly reduces light spread.

3️⃣ Red Sea ReefLED G2 60 – Light Shade V2
The original G2 60 shade was well received, but since it was my very first design, I wasn’t completely satisfied with it.
In this V2 version, I’ve improved the cooling inlet, rounded the corners for a cleaner look, and refined the overall design to make it both more functional and visually appealing.

I have a 3d printer but for the life of me can't figure out how to actually create things! I'm looking for something to hold a Red Sea Nanomat in the first chamber of an Aquatop recife eco 40 and I'm willing to pay for it
