All fish quarantined before DT.

3 months ago I noticed The blue hippo was flashing. Did a FW Dip and nothing. Also Dosed with Prazi with no avail. Fast Forward 3 months and the yellow tang died i wanted to make sure again so tried fw dip for 5 mins. No flukes. Dosed with prazi and dosed a second time 24 hours later. After dosing prazi I did notice the hippo flashing even more. Then the clown started head twitching. 24 hours after that no head twitching but hippo still flashed. Turned off skimmer and uv at this time. This was 3 days ago.
Here is the timeline leading up to that.
First the 3 Month Old Yellow Tang died. No spots, no discoloration, nothing. Ended up replacing her with another yellow tang. New yellow tang seemed stressed and never really took to the tank. Died 5 days later. Blue hippo tang died 3 days after that. Clown who was bonded with blue hippo died the next day. After the blue hippo died I brought another clown in that was quarantined. This clown is very young and seemed to hang with the old clown right away. But that only lasted a day because the old clown died. There is a pink spotted goby who basically just gives me side eyes and hides most of the time. The goby and young clown are all that's left. This all happened within the last week. I am lost. May quarantine the last two and go fallow for 6 weeks because I really do not know whats left.
Maybe I am missing something. Maybe the prazi killed them. I followed the dosing. Even added an airstone to the DT while the prazi was in there. Maybe I did something wrong. Is any of my corals or inverts deadly that I dont know of.

First treat with prazipro. Second dose after 3-5 days. I then do a water change and then treat with copper for 2 weeks. The yellow tang was quarantine at my LFS. They do 3 weeks in copper and prazi. When I told him my yellow tang died he said take the new one since it is ready to come out of quarantine. That one and the young clown are the only ones I didn't personally quarantine but do know they went through the quarantine process.

I thought velvet as well. Is it normal to see no signs of it on the body? The blue hippo flashed well before the First yellow tang. The only other thing is it seems everything went down hill when I added my corals. All my corals were dipped in coral RX before going in the tank. Thats really the only time line that everything went downhill. Can corals host velvet?

A couple of problems I see:
  1. Second dose of Prazipro should occur 5-7 days after the first, to better time with egg hatching.
  2. If using just 1 QT, you should treat with copper for a minimum of 30 days.
It is entirely possible for fish to have velvet (or flukes), and yet not see any visible symptoms. Both pathogens can harbor (and inflict heavy damage) inside the gills out of sight.

Not sure where I read about min of 2 weeks. I thought it was also a minimum of 24 hours of prazi. Live and learn I guess. I plan on removing the two fish and going fallow for 6 weeks. I believe that was the time for ich and velvet to be gone for good.
