My goal is 1 a week (5gallons). But I always too busy to do it. So I change one (10 gallons) per couple weeks. How often are you doing water changes?
First, it's my first corals food and I stick with it ever since. (Never try anything else)MR Vwhy did you choose reef roids to feed acro ?
Beautiful as always!
What conditions does your Pikachu acro prefer?
I have a good frag that has encrusted but not grown in six months. It has no PE. It is in 450 par under LEDs approximately 14k. Medium indirect flow.
Please let me know your thoughts on this coral.
Thank you,
Kevin
It's in the sweetest spot in my tank right now.
Middle of the tank (500 pars I guess), a lot of flow but not directly. Under led+t5s, but I would say my tank is more like 20k or more. I always like blue tank.
I haven't moved it since I got it ( over a year).
My thought on this coral: it's really a slow grower.[emoji30]
Most of the frag I add keep their colors and develop their color very good.every time u buy new frags, are those adapt in ur system immediately? or it loose its color and gain back after few weeks or months ?
No whatsoever.Do you dose any carbon for nutrient reduction?
That photo dump was incredible. It is always a treat to view your acros!
Is that your fox flame that isn't "doing well "?
Have you tried lower light? Mine is great at 300-330par
I think that he will recover. You have very stable water parameters.Yea. I pretty sure it does better in lower light. The rest of the frag I put in my frag tank (200par), recover even better than this one.
But I don't have any place to move it.
I hope it will gradually adopt the conditions and doing better.
