I can't sleep tonight so I post some pics. I really hope these before/after pics here bring some inspiration for you as they are always for me.
It's a long journey, but always worth it.

What nyos is it? The 120?
It is the 160. I had a real headache deciding between the 120 and 160. I glad that I went with the 160.
Like I mentioned in the messages, I use it as the "adjuster". If I notice algae outbreak, I just have to turn it 24/7. If my tank get too clean, then I just let it run part time.
P/s: by "clean" I mean by visual algae appearing, not the test numbers. [emoji4]

I'm in heaven.

Do you think the amount of fish contribute to the health of the acros?

Definitely! Lot of fishes, lot of feeding.
I wish you can see my fishes in person. I have the biggest Royal Gamma you ever seen! [emoji28]

On the other hand, what is the point of keep a reef tank without fishes?!
I love fishes as much as acros. [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

I went through all the pages which I rarely do. Your tank and your method/techniques are inspiring.

Such a bad day today!
I come home at 10:30pm and freak out when my room is DARK. It's never been dark before 2AM since 2012!
My wife accidentally turn off all the equipment in the room when she turned off the AC.

My Shrimps died. My Royal Gamma, my HUGE royal Gamma died. My yellow tang may or may not survive tonight. My dear fishes, they've been with me for 3 years!

The room smell like dead fishes. The water turn milky. Acros look stress but I think they will pull thru. My acros are tough as hell!
Such a bad coincidence when I just lend my boss the refractometer this morning. And I don't have a refractometer to do water change!

Lesson learn: if you don't have a back up battery, get one!
