I also have the IM40 and I love it, I am running the Tunze 9004dc skimmer works great never any micro bubbles. But I hate that I have to have it in the over flow chamber. But your scape looks awesome and love the pictures.

Got a few upgrades!!! The AI Prime is now retired and upgraded to a Radion XR30W G4 Pro witch i am LOVING!!!!! I have been running the tank without a powerhead for the past 2 months, I picked up a Vortech MP10Wqd and a Reeflink to connect everything together and the ease of programming. I ended up getting a good deal on a Apex Classic, set it up and got it running. So far i'm loving the new equipment, i also added a orange spot goby to the tank so far so good! Pics coming tomorrow

Lol i know my Apex is showing 8.5 ph but that is wrong it over reads by .10 i need to re calibrate it, so i went to my LFS today got some clear mesh screen to change out the stock IM screen that comes with the tank, ended up picking up some sps and a captive bread Filefish.

Tanks looks really good! How did the tank do with no powerhead and just the stock return pump? I'm think about removing my MP10 from my IM 50 lagoon. Also, what percentage and setting are you running the MP10?

Hey thanks for the kind words, the tank was fine without a powerhead for a while. Once I got SPS I needed more flow, I did notice once I installed the MP10 it kicked up a lot of gunk. I am running it at 50% on ReefCrest mode

Ok guys so I have an update, the nem is gone was taking up too much space! I did not hurt it, when I installed the MP10 it decided to move and was perfect time to take it out. I have purchased some new fish and coral I do not remember the names of the sps lol. I will try to remember and will post after the photos

I know I have som algae on the back wall but it grew when I did not have my macro reactor set up yet. Since I set it up it made a HUGE difference!!!! Pros down to .03 from .3 also nitrate down to 2-3 ppm from 10

The Filefish i got, got the boot lol he was nippin on the sps...... The orange spot goby i got some how managed to jump out of the tank even with a screen on....... current fish and invertebrate stock.
