55 gallon soft reef lighting

So this is my 30g currently using a t5 i think it’s about 24 inches with 2 blue bulbs and 2white ones I don’t use the white that often but I’m thinking about turning my 55g to salt and moving everything in this tank to it, would this light work or should I look into buying a different light. I know it’s kinda dirty it’s water change day

Assuming you’d like the 55 gallon to be a reef tank, I would recommend either adding an additional 24” fixture or upgrading to something that is 48” long.

T-5s are still great lights so you can continue to use them if you like or look into LED options.
