I believe in getting hair algae growth :O

Most of the Montis not doing great. All other corals fine. Acros made it through and they are what I was worried about can always replace a monti cap.

Going to do a round of testing

Pic of algae on bottom, and then 2 areas I'm proud of. Minus the gray barely alive monti cap.

@LRT when do you think its safe to water change again?

Parameters say waters fine, corals for the most part say fine (besides the montis)

That's a tricky one Nate. Without testing there's no saying what's been depleted. When's the last time you did a water change? Do you dose trace elements? Considering the positive effect not doing water changes and getting nutrients balanced has had. Id do only minimal water changes if it was me personally.

Concerned about some greyed Montis back left but they show polyps . Probs the nutrients and light changes.

Fts (sort of)

Keeping an eye on them for changes in Daily pics

My wwc grafted turned gray and became a part of the rockwork for a solid 8 months after I got it. All of the sudden one day it started turning red and green. My guess is it should be fine just give it time

Starting to see some algae on rockwork. Haven't had this in awhile. Let it ride?

@LRT looks like some ugly bugglies. Dosing mb7 and maintain strong is what I'm thinking. Cuc and goodies will grow off it.

Yo @MERKEY what's your biggest single piece of torch colony. 10 heads ? 20 heads? I'm up to 10 and it feels good.

Have you found a middle ground of when to frag a piece as a means to not let lower frags die. I know it's probably a well it depends strategy. But wondering...

That's one of the main reasin for fragging is shadowing.

Id have to really count but I think One of the colonies in the lagoon has probably 30 to 40 stalks and 60+heads.

I'll take some fresh pics tomorrow.....here's a dirty pic, see @Nate Chalk every tank has nasties :face-with-hand-over-mouth:Skimmer yukies going right back into the sump lol

It doesn't help I went with more of a white spectrum on the lagoon to promote growth and then frag and move heads to the 220 to color up. It also promotes algea haha

Yeah we going to need a top down, side profile and full frontal shot on the 60 head. What is it?

At least you guys can grow the stuff. Seems like the one thing that'll never grow, I'll have pieces in my tank for year or two and I never notice growth. I guess it does grow but it's always bare Skelton under the heads and slow as a snail. I think I need moar lamp/give it some waves or something. My icp test came back pretty solid. Just low potassium witch is fairly important but still...
