80g Shallow build

Well, I’m not really sure what happened but my Nahacky has died. He was so healthy and fat. Found him with his belly slit open. I only have two small blue leg hermits, in the way of crabs….well, had. They’re out of the tank now. Shocked they would be able to take him down even if he was asleep.

Just came home to my glass cages tank leaking from the seam for the c2c overflow.

Oh man sorry to hear that. File a warranty claim before you start working on it.

You can see where the silicone has pulled away from the glass on the bottom of the overflow.

Luckily it’s just from the overflow and not the actual tank. Ughhhhh

So, after a little back and forth with @Joe Glass Cages and Todd at glass cages they have offered to replace the tank, free of charge. They also sent out some glass and silicone, so I can put a temp fix on the overflow in the meantime. I’m really thankful for the way they handled a crap situation for both sides.

Finally back up and running in the new tank. It’s been sitting in the garage for a while as I’ve had no time to work on it. I got everything swapped from the tub to the tank this weekend. Still have a lot of work left and need to build a cabinet to house all the electronics and hide all the power bricks and wires. Decided to build a new stand as the other one left the sump area a bit cramped for my liking.
So stoked to be back in a display we can see what’s going on. Time to order up some coral and replace the wrasses we lost.

Got the aqua scape set back up how I like it. I may add a few small pieces to the left side to give more hiding places for the fish but I’m pretty happy with it. Sorry for the blue pics, I can’t find my lense for my camera.
