So you guys made the rock?
@leahfiish No this is a rock we sell here locally. We do not make this rock. If you have further interest, please pm us for more info, large or small, a great rock for any application.

@WWC

What is your opinion on "tank maturity" in the sense of growing acropora. Do you believe a tank has to mature in order to quickly grow healthy acros, especially if starting with dry rock?

I would say at least 4 to 5 months before adding acros and start thriving

Well.....how about a long overdue update on this beast? We never did manage to give the cabinet maker enough credit on this , here is a photo of the crown molding it was done just before we added the rockscape, and we believe it is just what it needed to set this view off!

The tank is now with water and doing well and going through its cycle. With the need to be patient and sit idle we decided to continue to tinker...here is an titanium in line heater we installed beneath the tank.

Here are a few more photos that weren't used that help to tell the story.

These two blue photos help to give a little depth to the rock work, which is difficult to show.

This view also gives an idea of the real estate in this monster.

And last but not least the top view with water!!

Freaking awesome. What kind of rock did you guys use? Great job on the aqua-scape. You guys really know how to do that right.
Also, there's no such thing as too many photos of this system! Wowzers

This rock is made by our go-to guy in rock building here in Florida, he does all of our custom rock stuctures.

He does some pretty incredible stuff.
