@WWC Can you please comment on how you guys do your aquascape? It looks like you pre-assembled small islands and somehow have them sitting up on little pedestal feet? Please share how you do that. It appears you (and Jason Fox) do aquascape the same way. It obviously works well for you so I don't think it's a small detail, but rather a big part of your success. Water movement is so important, so I can see how having as little of the rock touching the bottom as possible is super important.

@hatfielj I'm not sure the best way to describe the way we do our rock work, however it is a direct reflection of our taste. We like to give the tank the most optimal flow, this is of utmost importance. The second thing is, we like to have the aerial view as nice as all of the viewing panes. This, in our opinion gives us a lot more "zones" to work with when these colonies grow out, not all corals like the same lighting and flow. Sometimes its a hidden gem that you mat not be able to see until it pokes up from behind the rock as a beautiful colony. The third thing is, we try to keep close to the same amount of negative space as positive space, while also leaving the furthest point of view the highest, again regardless of the viewing pane. This for whatever reason gives it more of a broad appeal to everyone. "we think" Ha Ha. Not sure if this answered your question but that's our outlook.
