I have been running an Avast Marine Plank auto feeder ~3 times/day with their reef jerky, I sprinkle in small amounts of flakes occssionally and some frozen mysis in the evenings. I try to do a little, more often, rather than a lot, less often..

The Plank Feeder is a nice little unit, but spendy. Requires external timer control, I use a Kasa smart plug. I do have to clean it regularly in the DT as it can get clogged with algae fairly easily, would love to have a sump the throw it in the return chamber..

Auto feeders & auto top offs are my favorite things.. ;)
Love that thing. Have one in a box for when I set up my bigger tank

I approve of this purchase.

(Plus get a Mel)

Fish go nuts for the Avast reef jerkey (freeze dried plankton) as well, I'm on order #3..

Pistol shrimp and Goby are hunting for some as we speak..

Skimmer is back on for 24 hours! First time I've been able to run it consistently since the disease incident end of Oct, when we added 3 small doses of Melafix to the tank (hail mary). I had only been able to get an hour or 2 of straight run time otherwise, without overflow.. The wavemaker has been set on "splash mode" in the interim for gas exchange..

I have done over 14, 15-30% water changes since.. Happy day lol.

Crab time. Still got that asterina hitchhiker..

Do you think he got eaten by the moose?
The solar flares and Chinese California land grab caused flash floods from the rapid snow depletion in his front yard. He's stuck inside without cell service.

Cloud seeding silly
That's really sinister and really gross. Seeding clouds with human poop... That would make for a really crappy rain or snow storm.
