so I’ll attach my rockscape in case that matters I might form another cave at the top with the two rocks in the middle. My tank is 90g, almost 3 months old And right now I have:
CUC: snails/hermits/cleaner shrimp
Two black phantom clowns
Two blue darting damsels

The following on my to get list are:

•WHITE tail
•Potter dwarf angel
•Leopard wrasse or halichoerses wrasse
•3 Bartlett Anthias

I’m assuming the tang or wrasses should go in last. I would like to have most of my fish who are active/personality so if someone as other opinions as far as wrasses I’m open to suggestions

I would say the Tang would be most likely to be an issue and should go in last.

If you do a leopard wrasse, that should go first, or as soon as possible.

You can do a leopard and a Halichoeres sp. H. chrysus is my favorite to recommend.

The while tail tang should go last, and I would suggest that to be the only tang in the tank.

The potter's angel will be a challenge. They can be difficult to keep.

It should be noted that leopard wrasses prefer to be in a group. They hunt together and help each other. You can do what you want. Also, Tang last.

The Tang should definitely be last. Be aware that Bartlett's Anthias can be mean as well.

I would go Leopard Wrasses and Potter's
Bartlett's Anthias
White Tail Tang

Are both these wrasses compatible together? I really like the bright yellow

Yes, the yellow/yellow coris/canary wrasse (H. chrysus) is compatible with a leopard wrasse in a 90. All-around near perfect reef fish.

What do you mean by group? Like with other wrasses or just a group of other fish

A trio of leopard wrasses. They hunt together to find food. They can be kept singly but it's kinda like anthias. It's better to have multiple
Man why have I never heard of this, I’m more inclined to have a trio of wrasses than Anthias.

This isn't necessarily accurate. Leopards may hunt together as juveniles, but that behavior changes as they mature. They don't always tolerate each other either. If you are just getting started with wrasses I would recommend gaining experience with Halichoeres species, before moving to leopards.

Agreed. With Leopards unless you pick the right fish you are going to have a heck of a time keeping one alive. Halichoeres are generally pretty hardy. I've had great luck with both my Melanurus and my Blue Star Leopard (I don't do any special care with my Blue Star) but I was also very picky about selecting my Blue Star and waited for my LFS to do a bulk order and then bought one that was active and feeding after 2-3 weeks. It's been super adaptable to different kinds of food (ie Seaweed) and is surprisingly bold for a Leopard Wrasse. I definitely wouldn't try a harem of any wrasse long term though.
