Everything looks fantastic! I love my McCosker.
Thank you! I love how active he is. All over the tank. I would have been happy with either the mccosker or carpenter, just found the carpenter first lol. At night when it drops to just blues in the evening he joins the clowns and flashes his fins at them for a while before diving into the rock under the torch

-Almost- everything seems to be doing well! For some reason most of my rainbow incinerator zoas are puking their guts out and acting like they want to die. Who knows. There’s a little bit of I think dinos hanging around on the sand, nothing that I’m too worried about. Just going to feed more, keep with my water changes and dosing microbacter7. The last time they showed up in my 14, heavier feeding sent them packing.

I think I’m going to declare myself AEFW free, it’s been 51 days of once/twice nightly checks/blasting since I’ve last seen a worm or bite mark.

Pikachu acro is shifting closer and closer to its correct coloration. Pink Cadillac is losing the lime green.

Update!!!! How’s the tank?
It’s doing well though. I’m thinking about getting another flasher or fairy wrasse for my carpenter to flash at. He goes and bugs the clowns every now and then, and that’s really interesting behavior to watch. I’m pretty sure my little wheeler’s goby is gone. Haven’t seen him since a day after the move.

Added a bangai cardinal and pink spotted watchman goby today. Now the carpenter wrasse is really strutting his stuff, fins colored up and flashing everywhere.

Have some fun stuff ordered. DIY all for reef and all the mix in’ goodies, a nyos po4 kit and some Red Sea ab+.

Also, in addition to temporarily killing the skimmer, I’m blacking out the sump. The little bit of dinos seem to end up down there all over everything, so I might as well kill them when they arrive ya? Lol.

Today is day 3 without the skimmer running, and the dinos are nearly 100% gone. Really have to look to find any. No3 still read 0 this morning, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Going to keep an eye on it and react accordingly.

Welp, unfortunately the cardinal has moved out to the porcelain fishbowl. Wasn’t interested in eating anything I put into the tank since I got him, was having trouble swimming today, getting pushed around. I caught him and put him in a breeder box in the sump with some frozen mysis that he wouldn’t go for and he went.

Tank has cleared up quite nicely. No more dinos. I added a springer’s damsel and firefish, both eating right after being added. Going to keep with the 6 that are in there for now, don’t know what else I’d like to have. A rainford goby would be cool if I end up with the algae to sustain one. The tank is crowded with amphipods, maybe a ruby red scooter blenny.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Little pic dump. Everything is doing well, even looks like my pc rainbow is getting some color back. It’s growing aggressively, which is probably why the tips are still so pale. Still have the skimmer shut off. The fish are getting along well, carpenter wrasse thinks he’s the boss of the tank. I cannot wait to see what that encrusted frag looks like a year from now

One of my new acros is being a butthead, bleaching around the base and the very tip. No3 is under 5, po4 is, the best I can tell with the nyos kit, around 0.025, so I don’t think that is the issue. The other piece I got at the same time is just fine, sitting right next to it. Trying to decide if I should chop it or leave it be
