I think will have to define peacful?

100% invert safe a lubocks or pintail fairy wrasse.

Mostly invert safe
Possum, pink streaked, H. Iridis(challenging species, very timid does not ship well, had one die a few days after shipping another that went jumped into my weir and died in my filter sock.

I'm a bit biased, but I'd recommend a Yellow Coris Wrasse (40G might be pushing it, though). I have one in both of my reef tanks, they are amazing at controlling/eradicating pests that slip through the cracks. They're a beautiful super bright yellow (catches your eye from across the room). Both of mine have been model citizens, if anything they act like scaredy-cats. Best of luck to you.

Any of the flasher wrasse will definitely work without question.

I have had my share of them and I keep very peaceful, heavily stocked community reef tanks.
