I should mention that the QT tank is technically meant for fish, so it doesn’t have any special lighting besides the stock Top Fin lighting the tank came with. Will this be a problem or should it suffice? Also, I currently have the torch in indirect lighting/flow. Should I move it, or is it okay as is?
only worry if the torch closes and doesn't open when lights are on. That's when you know they are far too dim.

Since torch is recovering and brown jelly isn't sliming off if. I would leave it as is. Keep your treatment program you are using. I just wouldn't know when to stop treating.
I can't add to the advice that's been given already. Chemiclean may work in dt. To prevent mass infection/spread.

Following! Hoping it pulls through! It's looking a lot better in the pics!

It’s currently in a small container, and it looks like this:

I have a fish QT that is currently empty, and I can probably get my hands on some reef iodine. Is it worth a shot?
Considering that it looked like this just 24 hours ago, I feel confident that it's going to make it.

Hydrogen peroxide dips seem to be working well. I’m going to do another and then probably stop and monitor the torch for a bit (because frequent dips are probably stressful). Hopefully other meds come in soon. There’s some bleaching going on and there’s still brown jelly, but the fact that it’s still alive is a good thing.

Today, the torch isn’t doing so great. The second dip didn’t exactly help, and the stress is causing the coral to do worse. Iodine comes in tomorrow, which will hopefully help fix things.

Any pics? It might be angry, but it's also recovering. if there's no brown jelly, that's terrific. I wouldn't dip for a couple of days to be honest. If there is brown jelly, that's what you are dipping to stop.

I’d dip it again, but at this point I don’t think it will make it, sadly. If it’s still somehow hanging on tomorrow, I’ll be glad to try some iodine dips when the meds come. But right now it seems too late given the rapid spreading of the infection, and I’m sure that the stress of another dip would only harm it more (I’m pretty sure the stress from the most recent dip didn’t help :(). I’m glad I saw some improvement, but ultimately, I think the harsh conditions of the QT tank caused too much stress....
I am very sad to see the torch go. It made a great centerpiece and host for my clowns, and the tank will surely be different without it. At least the frogspawns are looking better.

Today, one of my first and most beloved corals, an Aussie torch with four heads, has developed Brown Jelly Disease. This one really hurts, because this coral is one of the only ones I truly care about. This coral was the “lucky charm” of my tank, because no matter what happened, it pulled through. I’ve had it since the beginning, and despite my lack of knowledge on how to keep corals, it survived and developed into a beautiful centerpiece. It survived multiple parameter swings, hosted a pair of clowns, and kept my pulsing Xenia in check. Three weeks ago, I did a rescape of the aquarium, which caused an ammonia spike. This unfortunately spelled doom for the torch. It was never the same since, and while I avoided iodine dips to further stress it, I wish I could’ve done more to avoid this death. It was no doubt my prized coral, and it will truly be missed.

In an effort to prevent the death of my other three euphyllia, I’d like to treat the tank with antibiotics. Does anyone have experience with treating tanks for BJD? Thanks in advance...
No good! Sorry for your loss.

Update: Today was a bad day for the torch, and most of it is gone. Regardless, I did an extremely long iodine dip (the medicine finally came) and I am now running both chemiclean and hydrogen peroxide in the QT tank. It’s a full chemical warfare now, pretty much a last ditch effort, with hopes that I can kill all remaining bacteria. Inconveniently, the tank light blew last night, and there’s not much I can do to help.... at this point, it’s just me hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Here’s most of the brown jelly that flew off. I don’t have a pic of the torch when it was in its worst state, but essentially all of it turned into slime.
