In short time here have seen many a build thread go silent leaving me to wonder if the op was ok. Sonetimes you get a nice surprise when they pop back up other times you can only drop a warm message in the thread and hope.
Today I saw Simon / Najer say he was moving on as I thought of replying to him his thread was locked closed 5 minutes after his goodbye.
Should we now notify a mod when a thread has not seen its op or if its op says goodbye to lock it down?
Our friend Si is vocal wears his heart on his sleeve and may go against the grain but is this really a reason to lock down any further comments.? Is it a new policy mods require help finding threads left behind?
I spoke to Najer and he was sad no one could say a proper goodbye I'm saddened by it myself.
To the missing but not forgotten

i want to say something, but don't know what to say :(

Najer has said he was leaving and said goodbyes for months and has received many goodbyes. If he wants to continue with his thread here we will open it back up and he knows that. Thanks.
