Acan splitting

My acan has turned into the shape of the number 8. Is it going to split into two heads? My first keeping of an acan. Unsure. I just bought it Monday. Was mostly circular.

I think trachys split by pinching off into an 8 like that but it won’t happen in a few days, more like over months.
