So for 2 days now all my acans in my 180 have looked like crap. All deflated and what not. Everything else in my tank looks great, zoa's, millie, encrusting monti's, duncans, anemone's.

Is there anything in particular I should be looking at/for? Has anyone had this happen before?

I never have had this happen.

TIA
Sandy

No, I'm not, should I be? I have a whole set of Prodibio that I won at MACNA but I've only used biodigest a few times from the kit.

ok, check and see if any bare skeleton is visible. If so see if it has any pink hues in the skeleton. If it does, cut WAY beyond it...

Otherwise, do a healthy dose of mag, and increase flow over them. Cut back on feeding them, if they eat too much, they could have additional problems.

Now, if you dont spot feed at all, try spot feeding them small mysis.

This is also a very good possibility. Once a tang gets a taste for something, theres little stopping it from devouring it. I would watch any like a hawk. My purple knows hes on a short leash.

I do spot feed but only a couple times a week. No skeletons are showing at all.

I do have a purple tang, however it's about 20 different frags. I never see him near them (I know that doesn't mean he isn't being naughty, but I just never see him over there). I will check my mag tonight and dose.

Check the edges of the polyps and see if they maybe look torn. I have had several different types of tangs pick on my acans including a PBT.

They don't look torn but I did see my tang over there messing one of them. Is there anyway to get him to stop? Maybe feed him more? I don't know. I just would feel bad if he killed my acans but also because he is my friends fish that I took so I would hate to have to get rid of him.
