My radions probably produce around 500-550 par. I place them at about 10" from the water surface. The T5s added about 150-200 par. I turn on the T5s 5-6 hours a day. At the same time. The radions are at 100% output (AB+ schedule).

It really depends on what kind of acros. Most tenuis and millies like higher par and flow. The tort kind dont really care (some color up better in lower par). Best to ask the reefer/vendor you're getting your acro from.

Amazing acros!
Did you use a Par meter when you say "They're getting 450-700 par " or is it based on calculations?

Some updates :) LOTS of pics.. enjoy..
I'm still looking for RRU Angry Birds and RRC Rainbow Splice for the collection.
I had the opportunity to get both but have been broke lately. These corals have made me AcroPOORa. Get it?
I have to stop buying low-mid end frags I supposed. But they all look so nice!

Anyway, my tank is on cruise control now. All parameters have been very constant and everything seems to be growing.
I haven't done any water change in 5 weeks now..don't wanna disturb the peace :)

man you pc rainbow is insane. mine just wants to go green green green. boring as hell.
Mine is at around 250-300 PAR. Maybe move yours a bit up toward the light if possible. Usually when they're turning green it means not enough light. At higher PAR, the PC rainbow may turn solid red.

LOL, i've been going the wrong way! i've been dropping it further down the tank. I was told to put it in lower light. I think wher emine is at right now its getting 250-300. My tanks been pretty unstable the past 2 months though, been trying to raise po4 and no3. maybe now that things have ssettled a bit it'll start to turn more red.

Ah yeah maybe it wants more nutrients in additional to extra light :) PC rainbow is one of the hardiest ones.

Needless to say, awesome corals. We have very similar params but your par is significantly higher. I just started increasing mine a few weeks ago.

Can’t wait to get my 90g wet so I can up my real estate for coral!!

Nice! Yeah I'm thinking about upgrading as well.. running out of room. Either than, or I have to stop buying. lol.
Higher PAR is the key for some, like tenuis and others, but some do better (more color and growth) in medium PAR.

Amazing colors good job! i just got into sps abput 6 months ago and been getting addicted to it. I currently have about 350-450 PAR at the upper part of my rockwork and all my tenuis and millies love it but man oh man does my kung pow monti and other LPS hate it since they are getting about 250-300 on the bottom lol

Thanks :) yes, it's super addicting. I've finally stopped buying new sticks. I'm out of room..lol. I need to upgrade. Current FTS is below.
But with PAR, my frag tank is getting somewhere between 300 and 700 PAR. I've been moving the grow outs around constantly to see which spots they like best. I feel like I need a bigger frag tank as well to yield better results.. sigh..

Updates! Some colonies/ frags are starting to take off.
Had a bit of a scare last week when my alk dropped to 6.8 dkh (from 7.8-8) within a day because of clogged up calcium reactor intake. Thank God for Apex Trident!
Lost a few frags, luckily they were the cheap ones..lol

Happy Holidays everyone!
