Hi R2R.

This is my 10th tank of my life time but first time ever documenting it.

I purchased this ADA tank back in 2013 with all intentions of getting it up and going. At the time LEDs were a new technology and I purchased two par38s from a hobbyist. I also purchased a MP10. Then I decided to buy a house so everything was boxed up and stored till now.

Equipment:
ADA 60p with frosted back (17 gallons)
First generation MP10
Par38 LED
Neo-therm 75w heater
13 lbs of live rock

Residents:
2 astrea snails
1 trochus snail
2 blue legged hermit crabs
Various hitchhikers

Tank started cycling mid-August. And I'll continue to catch this thread up to where it stands now.

Thank you all for the warmest welcome. This forum has to be where all the nice people go on the internet. I'm excited to be apart of it.

The first lump of rock was purchased for a pico tank I was going to set up but the rock turned out bigger than expected and with the life forms and shape, I *had* to drag out the ADA. I picked up a few more pieces of rock and let it finishing cycling although I ultimately didn't experience a cycle.

My first coral purchase but honestly it was really for the hitchhiker clam (to the right of/nested among the red skirted zoas). This rock also had a bristle star and two more bivalves within it.

In September I picked up in some frags from a local coral auction.

Just a word of warning, Xenia spreads like wild fire..... Be careful with it.

@Fudsey - I knew xenia was invasive so I kept it away from spreading. It has slowly melted away since then.

October I got a two rock flower anemones, a rainbow montipora and some unknown acro. I also finally tried to get a fish for my tank . A tailspot blenny who went missing a few days later. I live very close to an elementary school and decided to leave a missing poster there. He never did come back home.
