So I have a Red Sea 250 that has been set u for like 6 months now. I also set up a 125g a few months ago. Everything from the Red Sea transferred over except the sand I have left the Red Sea running cause I ave plans for it there are snails in there and some Xenia. Any ways I tied it into y sump on the 125 so it is all one system. Question now is. If I got some dry rock and put it in the Red Sea is it gonna cycle the 125 again

If the question is whether the bacteria will spread to the new rocks, the answer is yes. But I’d add new fish slowly once it decouples from the old tank (if that is planned).

No it’s gonna stay one system I just want to start adding more rock. Live rock is hard to find around here. I was gonna start buying a few pound of dry here and there and just adding it to the Red Sea. I just do t want to create a cycle again on the whole system

You're not goin to recreate the cycle, you should be fine to add your new rock.

Good luck!
