This light is on sale today for $60. At that price I'd be willing to bite because why not? You light geniuses out there see any reason I shouldn't?

Other than potentially throwing away $60 that you could apply to a halfway decent light, nope...

I’ve never heard of the light but it looks like almost every other black box led. If the picture is accurate that looks like a lot of yellow and red leds, which generally aren’t a major part of the spectrum for a reef tank.

See my thoughts were it looks exactly like a Viparspectra which is a reputable light with this being less than half the cost. It has blue and white/red/green on separate controllers.

Get one, try it , and report back. Its the only way to know.
It just a black box clone. I paid like $90 for mine years ago and it grew corals well and really shined growing macro algae.

The viparspectra are about the best black box leds IMO. I ran them on my tank for several years and they will definitely grow corals. The picture you posted the white lights look yellow to me while viparspectra are more white. They may not actually be yellowish in real life though.

After looking at the led chart, Viparspectra definitely has better spectrums
