Tank dimensions 21.7x21.7x21.7. I was looking at the ai prime 16hd and I'm wondering if it's strong enough for the 40 gallon.

I can also get a pretty good deal on the 360x tuna blue with the mount and dongle for 275 but I'm not sure if it's justified the cost.

Depends what type of reef. For SPS it may be tough and an XR15 might be better. For a couple sps and everything else it should be fine.

I have a couple used AI Primes I am selling if you’re interested

I do plan on having a mixed reef but I’ll go slowly. Would you recommend the 360x for mixed reef? I saw the xr15 and saw they had different generations. Is the g4 still good or should I just go for the g6?

I read that. Sounds like the price isn’t justified. Which is the only thing holding me back.

I have never used kessil so I can’t give you an accurate answer. I would assume the gen 4 is still good especially if you’re taking price as a main factor
