Hey guys,
I was wondering what you guys would think about 2 AI primes over a 57 gallon SPS tank? I have Kessils and love them but for this new tank I wanted to try a different type of LED. What do you guys think? I like how instead of 900 for 2 Kessil 360s and a controller I can spend about 400 on two AI Primes. How do they work for SPS? Please help!
Thanks for reading
36x18x20 for tank measurements.

You would want 3 on a 36" tank... I always recommend 1 Prime per 12" of tank length if you want full coverage and decent PAR. Here's my 60"x22"x20" with five of them.

Absolutely amazing setup, any ideas on SPS growing capability?

I have no problems growing various SPS, but they are placed at least midway up in the tank. I don't think you would see great SPS growth, if they were on the sand bed, with these lights.

I didn't realize they were in low supply!?!

Ironically, I'll be posting mine up for sale before too long. I have been SUPER happy with the Primes and am very impressed with what these little things can do. However, I have never owned T5's before and now that they have dimmable options, I'm going to try out a Giesemann 8 bulb fixture.

Keep me in mind for three of them please!!

Well, someone else saw that I mentioned maybe selling them and PM'd me about wanting two of them. So ironically you two would account for all five of them!

Are those Anthias in there? Had a problem with them jumping?

would 1 prime work over a 24x24x24? I know it's pushing it but I will only have softies, rbta, and a few lps not sitting on the sand?
