Has anyone ever used this light and if so what was your take on it. Thinking about using it in my 50 long. It's the white one with 8 pucks

Ok thanks@BKjohnny uses one, maybe he can give some good input
Did it grow corals well when it didn't lose settings? Not a fan personally. Had a lot of problems with it losing settings and resetting to 100% intensity.
Didn't keep it long enough to find out after it had reset itself to 100% and fried a couple frags.Did it grow corals well when it didn't lose settings?
Oh, I'll look at some other lights thenDidn't keep it long enough to find out after it had reset itself to 100% and fried a couple frags.
Do you think one with 8 pucks will be enough for a 40 breeder?Ive used tham at a reef shop I work at, we've had them since they first were released. As long as they don't reset to 100% which never happened to us, except for when a co worker incorrectly would change the spectrum. They grow corals as well as any of the LEDS ive seen released recently. If you can get them for a good price, and can prove they work correctly, Id highly recommend them.
It would have to be very high over the tank.Do you think one with 8 pucks will be enough for a 40 breeder?
How high?It would have to be very high over the tank.
I have 1 on a 20 long coral QT and had run 2 previously on a 50g cube. The 1 on the 20 long doesn't completely cover the tank so would so no chance 1 would be sufficient for a 40 breeder.Do you think one with 8 pucks will be enough for a 40 breeder?
