I read somewhere that the likely explanation here is that when aiptasia is stressed, they tend to release spores. This was true when I used to just try to scrape aiptasia off...but since i started using the BBQ method, it's all good...I got one of the very first ever made (by someone on this site who later sold the patent). They work much better with Majano than with Aiptasia. The Aiptasia always seemed to re-sprout days/weeks after I thought they were gone. If you already have the Berghia I would stick with those. I would be way to afraid of accidentally frying the Berghia.
Any body have any luck with these? I have a pretty heavy Aiptasia issue starting. I’ve added Berghia nubi branches but still think they will need some help.
