Hi, currently into a 3rd week of cycling a new aquarium. Just need advice about an algae in my tank. I believe I have 3 different types of algae at the same time green hair, diatoms and cyanobacteria. Is it normal to get them all at the same time and is that amount alright? It slowly takes over everything even the glass. Should I do anything about it or just leave it?

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10 ppm

It's really imperative that you don't have the lights on while it cycles. The reason being is that you will be growing algae that competes with the bacteria you're trying to colonize for ammonia.

Once the nitrogen cycle is complete, you will certainly see all of the things that you're seeing....it's just that you've gotten all 3 a little early really.

If you do not have livestock you can turn off the lights. It might go away. It might come back when you turn the lights back on. It is normal and nothing to worry about

When ammonia and nitrites are zero.

Edit: sorry I didn’t read your entire post. Now I see where you posted your parameters. I would turn off the light and give it another few weeks
