AlK drop correction

My all for reef dosing line broke while on a short vacation causing alk to drop from 9.1 to 7.9 over the course of 2 days. All for reef is back on and dosing it’s typical routine. I have already dosed 2 part to raise alkalinity back up to 8.5 as i felt that was safe. Was this a mistake/too much? and how should i proceed to big the system back to 9.0. Lots of Torches, frog spawn, scolys, a birdsnest colony, and a bubblegum digi.
